Rent a trailer first. Find out if you love this before you buy it.
The cheapest possible way to test a food business is to borrow the kitchen. Rent by the weekend, the week or the month — and if you order a build afterwards, your rental payments come off the down payment.

Four good reasons to rent
You're testing a concept
You think your birria will sell. You don't know. Rent a trailer for a month, work four weekends, and you'll know more than any amount of planning would tell you — and you'll have real numbers to bring to a build conversation.
You have a season, not a year
Rodeo, festival season, football Saturdays, a summer at the lake. If your revenue is concentrated in twelve weeks, owning twelve months of trailer may not be the right shape.
Your rig is down
An axle goes, a suppression system fails its tag, a fire. Being off the road is what actually kills food businesses. A rental keeps you selling while yours is fixed.
You have a catering contract you can't fit
A one-off job bigger than your unit. Rent a second trailer for the weekend, take the contract, and give it back on Monday.
Rental questions
What's the minimum rental period?
We rent by the weekend, the week and the month. Weekend rentals are mostly caterers and event vendors; weekly and monthly are people testing a concept, covering a busy season, or bridging a gap while their own build finishes.
Is the rental trailer permitted?
The trailer is built and maintained to the same code standard as everything we sell — but the licence is tied to you, the vendor, not to us. Under the Texas rules in force since July 1, 2026 you need your own DSHS Mobile Food Vendor licence for the unit you operate. We'll give you every document you need for the application and we'll meet the inspector with you if that helps.
Can rental payments go toward a purchase?
Yes — if you rent from us and then order a build within a defined window, we credit rental payments toward your down payment. Ask us for the current terms when you book. It's the cheapest possible way to test-drive this business.
What's included?
A fully equipped, code-spec trailer with the systems tested and ready, plus a walkthrough on collection. You provide propane, insurance, your own smallwares and your own permits.
